My Angel

Fate hanging by a thread,
Here comes the moment I dread,
Tears pouring as the rain,
All hope was in vain,
Once soaring among the stars,
Fell apart and now so far,
One dream and now gone,
Can we try?! But, all is done...
How can life be so cruel?!
It is love, I'm no fool...
Such fortune doesn't come twice,
Yet everything comes with a price,
For my happiness I've to pay,
But how can I be away?!
Why did my angel come and go?!
Do I surrender to the flow?!
I was never one to quit,
I'd fight, you'd bet,
But how do I fight fate?!
Why can't they see we're soulmates?!
The angel and the lost soul,
He made me fly then left me to fall,
All is fair in love and war,
But is he written in my store?!
How can I really forget?!
The perfect dream I'll never regret,
Though my hope is fading fast,
I pray for my dream to last....

Arrow - Season One "Tommy Dies"

I should write this in the end but instead, I’m  gonna start with it; I’m writing this after seeing all the finales of my favorite shows – except Hawaii five-O – and Arrow’s in my absolute favorite.

Arrow is a new show, and before it I didn’t know or like any of the actors in it. But, from the very first episode I was captured by the amazing story, and –to be honest- the extremely tremendously totally completely hot and handsome Stephen Amell ;)

The story centered about the green hooded archer “arrow” played by Stephen and his survival story. The show has a very awesome story line with great potential for many seasons to come and also very beautiful cast to whom I became a huge fan and shipper.

The final episode of the season wraps the speculations about the undertaking and holds the ultimate show down between the green hood and the black archer; Queen vs Merlyn; good vs evil.

The finale is so awesome that there’s absolutely nothing missing in there; we have the mother-son confrontation between Oliver and Moira, Oliver – Tommy pick scene, Oliver – Laurel awesome kissing scene, Speedy – Roy intimate save my life scene, the super hero club meeting between Ole, Diggle, and Felicity, Laurel’s dad finally accepting the hood to be a hero, bomb scene, and of course the show down between the hood and the black archer.
The earthquake actually makes more sense than if they had dismantled the bomb and saved the day. They warned the people of the glades, contained the damage, but there was a bit of on the edge of danger sort of thing. Also, Tommy goes to save laurel when the hood was otherwise engaged and he sacrifices his life for his love but also for redemption.
The question remains about Ole and Laurel’s relationship, Queen consolidated’s future after Moira’s arrest, and what the hood will do with his life once the undertaking is out of the picture.. yes lots of potential for the show!

I cannot seem to find any thing missing or even semi perfect about the finale, it has been a pleasure watching it and I can’t wait to see season two.

Totally earns 5 stars, if not more.

N.C.I.S. - Season 10 "Dinozzo and Ziva?!"

N.C.I.S. is one of the longest running TV shows I’ve watched. It’s been there for 10 seasons and hopefully for more yet to come.

I don’t really remember when I started watching it because it was really long time agom but I do remember why I started watching.

Remember dark angel? That good old TV show like 10 or 15 years ago starring Jessica Alba as Max the super soldier, remember her hot boss, Logan? I LOVED him, that hot guy with glasses on a wheel chair bossing everyone around with his ideals and incredible brains. That’s Michael Weatherly ladies and gentlemen.. the reason I started watching NCIS;  and I’ll watch any show he stars for that matter.

NCIS is a crime investigating show which I totally like, but there’s also a sense of family which stands out and it’s because of the very talented cast whom I like very much.. all of them not just Dinozzo ;)
This season has been full of major cases all relating to real life political events which is a strong point for the show. Years from now when we go back to watch this season, it’d be like reading history.

The finale plot starts a few episodes back after Ziva finally puts her hands on Bodner and avenges her father’s and the director wife’s murder. Then AG starts an investigation into NCIS agents and their cases all along the years, a young motivated but manipulative ADA takes on the investigation with everything to prove against NCIS with everything to lose.

The episode centers about Gibbs fighting his inner demons while director Vance leads NCIS investigations and fight for survival; and it ends in a big mystery with Gibbs on a hit black-op four months after the entire team resigns. So, what happened?! We should find out next season.

Did I like it?! Well, it’s one of my absolute favorite shows so of course I liked it. But did I expect more? Definitely yes.

I didn't expect the end to be so unveiling, and also the Dinozzo – Ziva scene when she gently puts her hand on his shoulder and looks at him…omg, that should have been a HOT kissing scene.. bummer :@:@:@

I guess it deserves a 4 star eval.

Castle - Season 5 "Castle Proposes"

When I first started watching Castle it was on TV here in the middle east and it was season two. Of course with our eternal delay, season 4 was airing in the US at that time. Being the ultimate curious monkey, i skipped the TV episodes and watched season 4 online.

I instantly fell in love with Castle, his charm, mystery, smarts, and of course the looks ;) I also loved Kate, Ryan, Espo, Lainey, all of the cast.

I kept watching the show until the finale of season 4 and then started from the beginning. I can't tell you how the few months of break passed  for me.. I mean c'mon, season 4 finale?! it was SCARY!!!

Watching season 5 was very interesting cause for the first time I was watching knowing all the history.

So, now we talk about the finale…

Few weeks earlier, speculations hovered regarding Kate and Castle’s long term relationship. Ever since then I was praying he proposes in the end of the season and he did..YAY!!!

When that job thing appeared it was quite obvious how things will go, or at least I expected it being an addict and all. It was also expected that the finale will be discrete but not as dramatic as last season. So, how to intrigue fans and tease them a little bit but don’t kill them of shock..again!

Kate takes the interview but doesn’t tell Castle..that B**** :@ and then he knows and they are both confronted with the truth of their relationship. Kate talks to Lainey and her dad, Castle talks to his mom and the both make decisions. The finale only gives away what Castle decided when he gives the AWESOME speech in the same place where it all started..the swing at the park *sigh*

Kate’s decision doesn’t come out this season and to be honest I was sure she was headed to D.C. until that interrogation room scene when she says this room is her home! She also doesn’t answer Castle sweet romantic question. Though I cut her some slack for hesitation, I mean at first I thought he was breaking up with her until he went down on his knee before that he had such a break up face I almost cried :’(

Generally, I think the episode was perfect. The murder case was nicely closed, there a Beckett father-daughter scene, there the Castle-Beckett fight scene –totally hot ;) – and there the EPIC proposal scene. What more can we ask for?!

5 Stars for Castle season five finale ;)

Series Reviews .. sort of!

I haven't written anything in quite sometimes, so I might be a little rusty :$. But on the bright side, I have been studying the fascinating English language; so, I might be a teeny tiny bit better on that front.

So, why am I writing now?!
Good question actually ;) well, in honor of the finale's week, all my favorite shows' finale, I decided to write my version of a review, remember well i said MY VERSION, for each show.

And if you hadn't already known, my favorite shows, in order of their air date, are:

Castle
NCIS
Arrow
Beauty and The Beast
The Vampire Diaries
Grey's Anatomy
Hawaii five-O

At this moment, some of the finales have aired and some not. I'll start with the first and keep going till they've all aired.

Hope you enjoy the shows and enjoy my reviews!!!

Why I think people should celebrate Valentine’s!!!

We live in a crazy world, where people forget to wash their faces occasionally or forget to say hi to one another. We live in a world of sticky notes and post its to remind us of what we should do. In this world of continuous rush, we tend to forget lots of stuff; we forget the stuff that don’t gain us something in return. We forget our feelings and the feelings of our close ones in the rush of our daily life. Even though people in the past didn't have that kind of rush or that kind of life, they knew that some of the most important yet simple things in life would one day be forgotten. So, they created days of celebration for us to remember the things that we tend to forget, like birthdays or mother’s day or…Valentine’s Day!

There are so many stories about Valentine’s Day that go around the world explaining why people celebrate it and how it began. The story I know and believe is this:

In the era of a very unjust roman emperor lived a saint called Saint Valentine. The roman emperor prohibited his soldiers from getting married so they remain dedicated to his wars. Some of the soldiers couldn’t help but fall in love like any normal people would do, but they had to keep their love a secret. Only Saint Valentine knew, and out of his belief of their right to love and wed, he helped those soldiers marry their loved ones. Of course shortly after, the emperor found out and captured the saint. And to make an example of someone who massively disobeyed his orders, the emperor ordered the execution of Saint Valentine to prevent anyone else from ever disobeying him. The saint was executed on February the 14th. To commemorate what he’s done for them, the soldiers decided to celebrate their love on the same day the saint died as he had died so their love could live.
Now, this might or not be the real story but I like to believe it is.

If you have someone in your life that you love and care about, you should cherish and honor this love everyday for it’s already so rare to find. But if we are gonna forget to express our love, if we might sometimes even be cruel to the people we love and neglect them and not give them the attention and care they deserve, what is wrong with having one day in the year reminding us to do what we should be doing the entire year. What is wrong with having a day to make up for the bad moments, the hard moments life puts us through?! What is wrong with an alarm clock going off every February 14th telling you to wake up and do something extraordinary for the one sharing your life with its ups and downs?!
I think that we should celebrate Valentine’s Day. Everyone should go out and do something nice for their partner. Even if you do it the whole year, which nobody does, it doesn’t hurt to do it one more day. It’s not bad to conform to an international day of love; it’s the idea that counts. If you’re so bothered by conforming, create your own Valentine’s Day, as long as you do what it takes to let your partner know you appreciate their existence in your life. It doesn’t have to be February 14th; it doesn’t have to be a fancy gift, just a token of appreciation and gratitude and love towards your partner…that’s the idea of Valentine’s Day!!!

Life as I know it!

I've existed in this life for 23 years, 6 months, and 14 days, not much, huh?! Well, not enough to build a perspective on life, I know, but this is how I see it.
There's countless things in life that we have and should be thankful for, and we need to remind ourselves of some of them each day because sometimes we get so soaked in our daily routine life that we forget the things that matter the most and we take them for granted. Nothing should be taken for granted, simply because in a second everything can change. Change can be good, most change is, but even if your life changed for better and you realized that you didn't take your time to appreciate whatever you're leaving behind, you'd still carry some regret. Like our childhood, we change because we grow up and we always seem to be restless about it, but if we didn't enjoy and appreciate our childhood while we're living it, we would grow up to regret not to.
No one should ever race through his life without taking a pause every once in a while to look around and see where he's become, to evaluate how well he's doing and cherish everything he gained along the journey. Yes, evaluate! Because we weren't given the gift of life just to carelessly throw it away by living and not living at the same time. A person should not count as a living person unless he is grateful for the gift he was given. If you truly did appreciate life, every day would be like a class; a class where you learn a lesson, take a little assignment, test how well you learned it, and on to the next class. This is exactly how life works, except it's not optional. Whether or not you learned your lesson, life goes on. It’s your choice to be on board - all cozy and comfy- or you can be chasing it and never catch it. But the trick is to remember: even if you're cozy and comfy, you can be kicked out any second. So, if you've to live anyways and there's no way you could know when you'll be out of it, you might as well enjoy the ride.
Also, there are other countless things in life that we don't have and should look forwards to. No matter how good your life is, or how happy and content you are with what you have, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more and better and more.
For example, education…it is a non-ending process, you should always want more. Set a goal, reach it, and then set another. One day you're happily single, then you want to fall in love, start a family, and live happily ever after; so, it's a non-ending process as well.
Being thankful and aspiring for a better everything are not mutually exclusive, people just get mixed up and confused sometimes. We get so anxious, ambitious, and impatient when we want something we don't have, we're only humans after all. We wish for something that we want, and we work for it, and we fear it's not meant to come to us, and sometimes people grow restless and lose their faith; that's where it usually goes wrong.
It's said that when you say a prayer to God and ask for something, one of three things happens: God gives you what you asked for, God gives you something better, or God delays your prayer for a better time only he knows. It's also said that prayers can change fate, can you believe that?! Then why lose faith?!
God has given us a huge chance to make our wishes come true, just pray..pray for what you want, what more would anyone need?!
All been said, it's not easy to walk the walk. I myself had some trouble with believing what I'm saying, like I had lost my way temporarily. But then, no matter how lost you get, you'd always find it in your heart to find your way back. I realized, facing my life with an attitude won't give me what I want; actually, if anything it's putting a wide distance between me and it.
Change, cope, adapt, whatever it is called, whatever you manage to do, just as long you find your way, find it in your heart to believe that it'll come to you..everything you wish for will come to you. It'll come in its own perfect time; and if it doesn't come, something better will.
